Started during Michel Bertrand's class and finished today, it's a "pale copy" of a watercolour by John Blockley. Trying to copy his painting made me use stronger colours which is quite unusual and somewhat difficult for me !

Ma dernière aquarelle avec l'atelier de Michel Bertrand / My latest watercolour with Michel Bertrand's class
Commencée pendant l'atelier du mardi et terminée aujourd'hui chez moi, c'est une "pâle copie' d'une aquarelle de John Blockley. Tenter de copier ce tableau m'a cependant obligée à "forcer" la couleur, ce qui n'est pas facile pour moi !

RépondreSupprimerJe ne connais pas l'original mais je trouve ta version superbe. J'aime beaucoup l'énergie, presque la violence du trait, et le caractère que ça donne au paysage. (et très belles couleurs, aussi, tout ça crée vraiment une atmosphère spéciale!)

RépondreSupprimerI am not familiar with the original, but this is amazing! Love the textures, and the muted colors and the mood it evokes. There is even a sense of motion - of panning across the view. Wonderful!
