Cette fois-ci c'est bien le dernier croquis breton de notre séjour! Ce jour-là on donnait dans le ton sur ton : les gris variés de la pierre en réponse aux gris variés du ciel ! This is definitely the last sketch of my stay in South Brittany. On that particular day the various shades of grey of the standing stones echoed the various tones of grey of the sky !
Je ne savais pas exactement où je serais à cette date, donc je n'ai pas
pu lancer d'invitations à me joindre à Locmiquélic (près de Lorient
-Morbihan). Mais j'ai eu une pensée pour tous mes amis croqueurs de
Lyon, Claviers et surtout Paris (que n'ai pas pu accompagner cette
fois-ci) Voici mon mini pseudo 37è sketchcrawl en solitaire... Après quelques courses à Lorient je me suis dit qu'il fallait que je fasse quand même UN croquis le jour du Sketchcrawl ! Alors, vue de la fenêtre du salon, 20 minutes pour croquer le poulailler et les toîts d'en face !
As I didn't know where I would be on October 13th, I didn't invite anybody to join me for a day in Locmiquélic (South Brittany). But I thought about my sketcher friends in Lyon, Claviers and of course Paris (whom I couldn't join yesterday) Here is my mini so-called 37th sketchcrawl on my own .. After
some shopping done in the nearby city of Lorient (South Brittany), I
thought I had to do at least ONE sketch on a sketchcrawl day ! So, this is the view from the living room window, overlooking the rooftops and the henhouse, done in 20 minutes.

Along the river Laïta, which separates the two "departments" :Finistère and Morbihan (South Brittany), lay the ruins of an Abbey. Very small sketch during a visit with friends... on a sunny day .
